Clients were great to meet as well." Job Purpose: The Direct Support Professional provides assistance, support, and encouragement to meet the needs of people with disabilities served by HMC. Services are provided in the individual s homes and the community. This job description pertains to DSP Night Staff. Perks of the Job: Flexible Scheduling Paid Training Fulfilling Career No Layoffs Referral Bonus Available Schedule: Overnight shifts around 10pm - 8am. Flexible scheduling to work 8-40 hours a week. Includes every other Saturday and Sunday. Plus, fill-in and holidays. Wage: $15.00 per hour. (Partial sleep Hours) Job Description Details Duties and Responsibilities -Provide supervision and assistance to individuals genuinely and respectfully while maintaining professional boundaries. -Assist individuals with daily activities, including meal preparation and personal hygiene assistance. -Encourage participation in leisure activities at home and the community and promote a healthy lifestyle. -Support and provide for individuals' medical needs, including medication administration and medical appointments. -Maintain cleanliness of the home/apartment and ensure safe working and living environments. -Complete required documentation. -Pursue professional growth and development. -Displays exceptional documentation skills and knowledge of systems, routines, and programming. -Attend all staff meetings and complete all required training. -Maintain HIPAA Compliance in all communications, whether written or verbal, external and internal to HMC. -Follows all health and safety policies and procedures. -Other duties as assigned.
