Job Title: Production Supervisor
Job Description
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for supervising all personnel and operations during their shift. The role requires maintaining low cost, high quality production practices, thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment, and the ability to organize work schedules for all lines. The individual will need to adjust production schedules as necessary and be responsible for meeting production quality and quantity standards during their shift. This position involves daily updates with the following Shift Supervisor, reviewing daily production paperwork for accuracy, and working with other departments to enhance efficiency and productivity. The Production Supervisor will also be responsible for enforcing all general and departmental safety rules, ensuring all accidents are reported, and following up on recommendations from accident investigations. The role also involves enforcing all food safety requirements and ensuring all required food safety documentation is accurate and complete. The individual will be involved in interviewing candidates for employment and conducting training with new employees, ensuring they understand the hazards of the job and how to avoid injury.

Work Environment
The work environment requires the individual to work in a safe manner and ensure other employees work safe. The individual must have a minimum High School diploma or equivalent. The individual must have good people skills and team building skills. They must also have some Manufacturing/Production experience and understand state, federal, and parent company regulations for a food plant industry. Understanding of food safety is also required.
