Production / Sign Installer - JO #59974A family-owned machine shop in the Manlius area is looking for a Production - Sign Installer to join their reputable team. This is an excellent opportunity to become an integral member of an established organization with over 40 years in business. This position offers full-time consistent hours, with a stable work flow.HOURS: 1st shift, Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pmPAY RATE: $18/hrDuties & responsibilities include:As a Production and Sign Installer, you will play a key role in creating finished signage products from start to finish. This role involves working with large, pre-cut plastic panels and transforming them into completed signs using vinyl, paint, and reflective materials. .Responsibilities:Look up sign specifications using SolidWorks and CorelDRAW.Apply vinyl, paint, or reflective material to plastic panels.Operate a spray paint gun (optional, based on preference).Send completed signs through the roller for finishing.Collaborate on team lifts for large panels.Stand, lift, bend, and twist as part of the physical demands of the job.Benefits:Direct hire position with opportunities for advancement.Additional cross-training opportunities to learn different roles within the company.Be part of a company where you see the product through from start to finish.Qualifications:Ability to stand for extended periods.Capable of lifting and carrying awkwardly shaped panels.Basic computer skills (training provided for SolidWorks and CorelDRAW).Applicants must follow all of CPS's employment guidelines and commit to maintaining an excellent attendance record.If you're looking to join a dynamic team with a clear path for career growth, apply now to become a Production and Sign Installer!
