As a Financial Accounting IT Senior Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:Driving the development and enhancement of financial and management accounting processes and application products and servicesCollaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including controller operations, various IT teams, finance, and risk management, to ensure the successful delivery of financial accounting solutions that meet the needs of our organization.Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for Financial Accounting products.Product Development: Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring that products are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the defined requirements.Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including controller operations, finance, risk management, and IT teams, to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business objectives.Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the strategic direction and timeline for product enhancements and new product launches.Agile Methodology: Work closely with development teams using Agile methodologies, to ensure efficient and effective product delivery.Product Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user stories, product requirements, and technical specifications.Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze product performance metrics, customer feedback, and market trends to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous product enhancements.Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that Financial Accounting products comply with regulatory requirements and internal risk management policies.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionFive (5) years of experience with finance business processes in a private, public, government or military environmentThree (3) years of experience with SAP FICO solution in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Proven experience as a Senior Financial Analyst or similar role, preferably in the finance.Strong understanding of General Ledger, Cost Calculation, Cost Analysis, Asset & Project Accounting,Familiarity with SAP and financial technology solutions such as Nakisa and Blackline.Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.Experience working in an Agile development environment, using methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.Work location: Work Your Way Eligible (Employee choice o work remote, on site, or hybrid)Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life both physically and financially. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
