Here, you will make an impact by:Leading the strategic development and execution of supply chain optimization projects, utilizing the Drive supply chain model and advanced analytical techniques to enhance network design, route/flow planning, product sourcing decisions, capacity planning, and inventory optimization.Implementing supply chain modeling software to evaluate, analyze, and solve complex supply chain trade-offs related to cost, carbon emissions, customer service levels, working capital, lead time, and responsiveness.Determining warehousing and delivery costing step-functions to optimize and minimize variable costing functions, ensuring efficient resource allocation across the network.Supporting modeling of warehouse productivity, delivery, real estate, and fixed cost impacts to explore various supply chain optimization scenarios, ensuring alignment with business objectives.E nhancing our supply chain practices, provide critical analysis to shape our business strategy, and effectively communicate results to key stakeholders, ultimately driving impactful change across our organization.Conducting regular network optimization studies to identify inefficiencies and improve supply chain performanceLeveraging transportation routing optimization to enhance delivery routes, effectively minimizing transportation costs while maintaining efficiencyYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field AND 10 years of job-related experienceANDIn addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:Proficiency in transportation management software and optimization tools, such as Llamasoft or Supply Chain GuruProficient in optimization principles and software utilization for supply chain enhancementAble to distinguish between simulation and optimization methods, with a clear understanding of their differencesE perienced in network optimization, inventory management, operations planning, and cost analysisPossess 5 years of experience in supply chain planning and design / supply chain consulting experience and a comprehensive grasp of core supply chain processes and financeAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institutionSkills include the following:Ability to convey complex concepts clearly to diverse stakeholdersWillingness to work with cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve common goalsCapacity to identify issues, develop innovative solutions, and adapt strategies as neededFlexibility to navigate through evolving projects, technologies, and business requirementsCapability to inspire and motivate team members, driving towards shared objectives and fostering a positive work environmentWork location:Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Maplewood, MN or closest location at least 1-3 days per week)Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-beingSolventum offers many programs to help you live your best life - both physically and financially.
