Here, you will make an impact by:Collaborating with Research & Development team members to design, test and implement new software application(s) or enhance existing ones in support of our core business groupsPlaying a key role in developing application prototypes by helping capture stakeholder requirements, implementing algorithms, writing code, and conducting user acceptance testingWorking closely with a team of computer scientists, engineers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide input into the development processGaining experience with building AWS infrastructure-as-code in a corporate setting and supporting existing CI/CD pipeline automationYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institutionANDIn addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:Experience with computer science or computer engineering course work and prior internship experience consideredExperience with at least one computer programming language such as C , C#, Java, Perl or GoExperience with data science/analytics course work or prior internship experience consideredAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Considering or pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science and/or Data Science from an accredited institutionExperience with software version control systems such as Git/GitHubExperience with Machine Learning, Statistical Learn ng, Data Mining, or equivalentExperience with software coding best practices such as Peer-programing, Xtreme Programming, Agile DevelopmentExperience with various programming languages used in the data science field such as Python, R and SQL course work and prior internship experience considered (truly a nice to have)Good communication skills (both oral and written)Work location: Near Hybrid (Minnesota-based)Onsite: Maplewood, MNRelocation: not authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-beingSolventum offers many programs to help you live your best life - both physically and financially.
