Here, you will make an impact by:Responsible for CBGs strategy development and planning by working with the leadership team to set medium- to long-term strategic direction and operating plans for the BGManage market and competitive intelligence and benchmarking for inputs to BG strategic and annual plans, and quarterly performance reviewsManage BG-level portfolio and transformation management processes through PMO leaderLead inorganic and business development value creation activities, including M&A research, exploration, due diligence and analysis; external partnerships; equity investment opportunities; intellectual property acquisition or sale; and presentations for related executive reviews (e.g., PMR, Quarterly M&A)Build and create content for executive forum presentations (e.g., EC, LC, BOD, THs, EMVs) in partnership with communication and PMO leaderLead development of agenda and planning for XLT meetings; supports EMVsTranslates strategic plan into operating plan scorecard, inclusive of PMO and CBG Communication goalsDrives calendar harmonization across the business group through communication and PMO leadersLead global growth strategy development and projects for MOC leaders based on BG-level priorities, leveraging an intake and prioritization processYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Possess a Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionMinimum of twelve (12) years of combined experience in strategic planning, business development, sales, marketing, and/or general business management in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:MBA or Masters degree from an accredited institution with an emphasis in business strategy or marketingKnowledge & experience in working in Consumer markets or products.Knowledge and experience with the theories and practices of one or more disciplines such as: market research, new product development, M&A, financial conceptsProven track record in providing novel and innovative solutions to complex or difficult strategic issuesExcellent communication skills, both written and visual graphics/chart creationVery strong analytics and financial acumenAbility to lead through influence at high levels in the organizationStrong logical, organizational and prioritization skillsAbility to deal with abstract concepts and changing environmentAbility to build a holistic business case leveraging market insights, internal realities and financials, packaged in tight logical argumentStrong understanding and interest in consumer and retail markets, with drive for learning more and advancing CBGs capabilitiesPrevious experience in as a Strategy, Area Portfolio, Global Portfolio and/or Bus Dev leaderSelf-driven and action orientedWork location:Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Maplewood 3M Center at least 2 days per week)Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/internatio alRelocation Assistance: Is not authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life both physically and financially. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
