Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT OFFICER T32, Position Description Number PDD1066000 and is part of the AZ WAATS, National Guard. Responsibilities This position is located in the Western Army Aviation Training Site (WAATS), located in Red Rock, Arizona. The WAATS provides flight, and flight training operations, Aviation Unit Maintenance (AVUM), Aviation Intermediate Maintenance (AVIM), and aviation maintenance training for supported Units. The purpose of the position is to manage, plan, organize, and direct WAATS logistics operations in support of WAATS and supported aviation unit training and flight operations. The Aviation Logistics Management Officer (ALMO) provides logistical support to, and partners with, the WAATS Commander, Flight Operations, Safety, Quality Assurance, and supported unit commanders in planning, scheduling, and implementing a comprehensive flying program. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: Warrant Officer: CW3-CW4 or Officer: CPT/O-3 TO MAJ/O-4 Compatible Military Assignments: Warrant Officer: MOS 153A or Officer: 15 series branch (possess or able to qualify for) GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 36 months experience, education, or training which includes identifying activities involving logistical support operations. Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan. Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan. Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel. Education You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
