Cree Sr. Process Engineer in Marcy, New York

Here’s the Gist:

 

Wolfspeed is looking for an experienced Process Engineer for this multifaceted position. Successful candidates will have hands-on experience in the semiconductor process. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced, deadline-oriented atmosphere and be capable and willing to work in a team of scientists, engineers and technicians to improve factory capability and manufacturability.

 

The Day-to-Day

 

  • Analyze data using statistical methods  (SPC, DOE) to drive process, efficiency, and quality improvements
  • Manage and document manufacturing process flows, control plans, etc., requiring clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Drive cohesive learning and cross functional problem solving, yield improvement, and process optimization
  • Exhibit strong communication skills to ensure crisp and effective execution on projects

 

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

 

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Equivalent
  • Experience in Process or Integration Engineer in a semiconductor environment
  • Understanding of the science and technology needed to fabricate semiconductor devices including ion implantation, oxide growth, diffusion, photolithography, wet and dry etch, thin film deposition and metal deposition

The posted salary range is what Wolfspeed reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual pay for a hired applicant will be determined based on the individual’s job-relevant qualifications, experience, and other determinative factors. In the event it is determined that a different job level upon hire is warranted then that range will be communicated to the hired applicant as soon as reasonably practicable.

Compensation Range:

$99,000.00 - $136,000.00
