AnthroMed Education Social Worker (Preschool-Kindergarten)

AnthroMed Education is seeking a qualified and passionate Social Worker to join our team for the remainder of the 2023-24 school year and the upcoming 2024-25 school year. As a Social Worker at AnthroMed Education, you will play a crucial role in supporting the social and emotional well-being of our students, collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide onsite services to students in Prek-Kindergarten for the remainder of the 2023-24 school year and return for the 2024-25 school year.
Provide majority push-in services to students within general and special education settings
Conduct assessments to identify social, emotional, and behavioral concerns among students.
Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to address students' social and emotional needs.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support students' overall well-being. *There is another social worker onsite to support the students in 1st - 3rd grade. The school caters to students from Pre-Kindergarten to 3rd grade.
Provide counseling services to students individually or in small groups.
Advocate for students and assist in connecting them with appropriate community resources.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records related to social work services.
Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
State licensure as a School Social Worker. (PEL)
Previous experience in an educational setting is preferred.
