[SUMMARY:
[The EMT responds to emergency and non-emergency requests for ambulance service and administers pre-hospital care and inter-facility medical care in accordance with approved company medical protocols, policies and procedures. Required to drive the emergency vehicle and communicate via a two-way radio. The EMT-B is primarily responsible for the safe operations, cleaning and maintenance of the vehicle, in addition to assisting with on-scene patient care.
