ROLE
As a Field Calibration Technician, you will play a crucial role in our commitment to delivering top-quality calibration services. This position involves traveling on-site to calibrate a diverse range of test and measurement equipment. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal, communication, and technical skills.
Responsibilities:
Calibrate electronic and mechanical measuring and test equipment, including weight scales, pin gages, plug gages, torque wrenches, calipers, scales, pressure gauges, multimeters, oscilloscopes, power meters, data loggers, environmental chambers, ovens, panel meters, Meggers, insulation testers, and controllers.
Work collaboratively with other technicians on the team or independently on projects.
Conduct dimensional measurements using calipers, micrometers, and length indicators.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of basic AC/DC circuitry.
Requirements:
Previous experience using test and measurement equipment is essential.
Working knowledge of basic dimensional measurements.
Preferred knowledge of basic AC/DC circuitry.
Commercial or Military experience will be considered.
Ability to lift and move 60 lbs unassisted daily.
Daily travel required with up to 10 overnights per month, including occasional weekends.
Travel involves both driving and flying.
Field Service Technician must provide their own cell phone with a data plan for connection to ATS email and multi-factor authentication.
