Research Associate I - Analytical Development
Objective: Collaborate with research and process development teams to develop and conduct analytical assays for biopharmaceutical products. Potential involvement in other development programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular analytical assays (SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, ELISA, Endotoxin, DNA, RNA, PCR, Phage Titer).
Participate in method development for various assays.
Develop and optimize stability studies and related assays.
Assist in transferring assay methods to QA/QC departments.
Process, analyze, and organize data sets.
Maintain accurate laboratory records.
Adhere to SOPs and safety protocols.
Present experimental data in meetings.
Assist with general lab maintenance.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in relevant fields (Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, etc.).
Prior biopharmaceutical experience.
Skills in cloning, PCR, DNA purification, and alignment programs.
Ability to learn new techniques and assays quickly.
Familiarity with QC qualification and validation.
Experience with protein and antibody characterization.
Skills in protein purification and conjugation.
Experience with bacteria maintenance and aseptic techniques
Strong communication skills.
Reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
Team player with the ability to work independently.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Understanding of statistics and statistical software.
Strong understanding of GMP and SOPs.
Compensation:
Performance bonus eligibility.
$30 $40 per hour - Competitive pay with benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)).
Potential for future stock option grants.
