What you will do:

  • Conduct large scale fire and flow testing following international standard protocols and/or local procedures

  • Help to manage Fire Test House workflow

  • Contribute to global Harmonization of testing and documentation

  • Contribute to and support workplace safety program

  • Support colleagues in any aspect of project work and collaborate globally with the international team

  • Perform engineering duties as needed

  • Provide technical support for existing products

  • Mentoring lest experienced team members

What we look for:

  • Associate degree Fire Protection Engineering (or equivalent) preferred

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple projects, must be a team player, have good problem-solving skills, able to understand and follow verbal and written work instructions

  • Highest accuracy and stability in executing work to reliably provide top quality results

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Advanced knowledge of process, method, and tools associated with firefighting

  • Troubleshoot test setups, assists with root cause analysis and corrective action, and propose innovative solutions for problems

  • Works under general direction using defined processes, unique approaches, and well developed cross functional know how

  • Technical lead within testing department for cross functional large scope projects

  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (fire protection gear, respiratory protection, gloves, etc.) and to lift weights up to 40 pounds

  • Willing and able to work in hot and dirty environments

  • Thrives in a multi-cultural teamwork environment, open minded, creative, driven for success, self-motivated, and high learning agility

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • Basic math skills

  • Willingness to travel

Preferred:

  • Firefighting experience preferred
