Senior Financial Analyst, Surgical FP&A

Hologic is seeking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to its FP&A team. The Senior Financial Analyst will be an integral team member responsible for providing critical analysis and insights to help drive business decisions within the GYN Surgical Division. You will provide financial support to the Division, including assisting with the annual budgeting process, performing regular financial forecasts, performing financial variance analysis of operating results, supporting the needs of non-financial personnel through analysis and reporting, supporting the monthly financial close and driving insights through strategic modeling. The selected candidate must be onsite at the Marlborough, MA site 3 days a week.
What To Expect:
Advise key stakeholders & business partners by providing robust financial data, interpretation and analysis needed to make informed business decisions
Prepare and analyze monthly financial operating results and variances to forecast
Prepare monthly business reviews and communicate with key stakeholders on performance versus budget/forecast to ensure continued alignment with strategic objectives
Maintain a thorough understanding of the expense drivers and trends of the cost centers they support; link these drivers and trends to key business priorities
Collaborate with other members of the FP&A team to produce monthly and quarterly financial presentations for the executive team
Support the annual strategic plan and budget process, functional reviews and executive management presentations and communications
Develop new and/or improve existing reporting tools, e.g., product portfolio valuation
Research finance and accounting issues
Extract and manipulate raw data for analysis or conclusions
What We Expect:
BS and 3+ years related experience
Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
Strong oral/written communication skills with the ability to summarize large volumes of data into effective key points for a non-financial audience
Strong people skills, including the ability to work in a cross functional environment and communicate with various levels of the organization
Ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects with varying deadlines
Intermediate experience with manipulating data using Microsoft Excel
Understanding of ERP systems & Planning tools, preferably Oracle & Hyperion
Familiarity with financial valuation methods
General understanding of Accounting and Finance Principles
Operate well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to the evolving landscape of priorities and requests

The annualized base salary range for this role is $78,000 to $123,000 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
