General Purpose and Scope of Position: The EHSS Audit Specialist is responsible for supporting the EHSS audit program and function for Wilbur-Ellis.  The Audit Specialist reports to the EHSS Applications leader that drives continuous improvement across EHSS and all of Wilbur-Ellis. Essential to this role is the ability to work closely with members of the EHSS team, Operations, Legal, and industry stakeholder groups such as Responsible Ag. Key Skills and Abilities Include: Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Sciences, or another related field Strong knowledge of EHSS auditing and EHSS compliance Demonstrated knowledge in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Project management skills Strong technical and professional writing experience Understanding of SharePoint site management Ability to collaborate across departments, off-site teams and prioritize multiple tasks Experience managing third party consultants. Ability to recognize process improvement and efficiency gain opportunities Support the improvement of EHSS culture Strong data analysis skills Ability to travel up to 50% Key Personal Attributes Include: Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills to maintain good working relationships with management, team members, and peers Strong planning and time management skills Ability to distill complex concepts into easy-to-understand ideas Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced, and collaborative environment Excellent communication skills including written and verbal Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables: Develop a comprehensive EHSSS compliance and management system audit program across the US and Canada Maintain schedule for 150+ annual audits Lead and/or manage internal and third-party audits Lead Responsible Ag program for applicable sites Use Enablon software to manage an audit program, corrective actions, and dashboards Support EHSSS Program Manager in training on Enablon software Provide guidance to EHSSS team in assisting locations to move through audit program Assist with the development and tracking of trends related to audits to understand how to improve performance Assist EHSSS Team members and operations in understanding findings and developing corrective actions Provide assistance on customer audits and producing relevant information Other Requirements: 5 to 10 years of EHSSS auditing and compliance experience Compensation and Benefits: In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $75,000 - $95,000. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience.
