UP Health System - Marquette Licensed Plumber in Marquette, Michigan

Inspects, installs, repairs and replaces pipes, fittings and plumbing fixtures to maintain the heating, water, gas and drainage systems of hospital facilities.

Installs, repairs, and maintains plant plumbing systems including domestic hot and cold water, sewer and drain systems, and their related equipment, devices, and fixtures.

Installs, repairs, and maintains other plumbing related systems including hydronic and steam heating systems, chilled water cooling systems, lawn sprinkler systems and their related equipment, devices and fixtures.

Installs, repairs, and maintains specialty systems including RO and de-ionized water systems, medical gas systems, fire protection systems and their related equipment, devices and fixtures.

Drag Edit DeleteTroubleshoots problems in plumbing and mechanical equipment and systems.

Assembles, installs, repairs and maintains other various Mechanical systems and equipment.

Assists and acts as a resource for other maintenance staff with regard to mechanical and plumbing problems and issues.

Reads, interprets and utilizes blueprints and schematics as required for job performance.

Utilizes applicable plumbing, mechanical and building codes.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education:

2 years post high school vocational/ specialized training as required by State of Michigan - Required

Required Skills:

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Required Licenses:

Plumber - Licensed Plumber, Required.- Valid State of Michigan driver license, Required

Minimum Work Experience:

3 years related work experience, Required
