GENERAL FUNCTION
Serve as an Administrator on the Business Configuration production team responsible for the client structure and member benefit product configuration for EyeMed’s clients. Partner with cross functional teams to ensure efficiency and accuracy of configuration requests.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up new and maintain structures, as well as billing rate and administrative fees for Managed Care groups in the core Facets system.
Configure all types of vision products in the system.
Perform audits on all new and maintenance client structures and product requests, validating manual and automation processes for accuracy.
Ensure product configuration accuracy that may impact benefit display including Limits, Exclusion, and Disclaimer language.
Follow the established corporate and industry audit controls when fulfilling setup and maintenance requests.
Perform product configuration claims testing, on new or existing products, to ensure the product properly adjudicates during claims processing, for member benefit, reimbursements and provider pay amounts.
Perform and resolve product configuration questions/issues sent to the Business Configuration production team without guidance.
Maintain relationships with Operations teams in order to develop a cohesive cross functional, results driven working environment.
Self-manage completion of work inventory in the production queues within established quality and turnaround time guidelines
Run SQL queries to research, audit, and perform issue resolution of requests that are sent to the production team.
Coordinate and participate in cross-functional team activities for issue resolution.
Recommend process and system enhancements for the production team to drive improvements.
Support the management team with on-going training activities, misc. projects, resolving issues, and serving as a subject matter expert for all Configuration requests.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Associates degree or equivalent work experience
At least 5 years of experience working within a core claims administration system
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
At least 2 years of experience using SQL queries to extract data from the system.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and with others
Ability to manage multiple complex assignments at the same time
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years’ experience in Operations in the Healthcare industry
Experience with Facets platform using Claims, Provider, Network, Product Benefit Configuration
Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs
