We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Medical Customer Service Rep in Mason, Ohio. As a key member of our team, you will be tasked with providing exceptional service to our customers, particularly within the pharmaceutical and medical fields. This role involves interacting with customers and healthcare providers, understanding insurance nuances, and working within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with customers and healthcare providers to provide top-tier customer service

• Develop a strong understanding of pharmacy benefits versus medical benefits to better address customer needs

• Utilize CRM systems to process customer inquiries and maintain accurate customer records

• Answer inbound calls promptly and professionally, ensuring all customer queries are addressed

• Gain familiarity with pharmaceutical and medical terminologies to provide accurate information to clients

• Verify customer benefits and appointment eligibility, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate

• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive customer information

• Collaborate with the team to improve customer service processes and procedures

• Use your skills to contribute to the overall success of our team and the satisfaction of our customers.

Requirements • Must possess strong skills in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems

• Experience in answering inbound calls in a professional manner is required

• Responsible for handling authorizations effectively

• Prior experience in a call center or customer service role is necessary

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential

• Ability to handle customer issues and complaints in a calm and professional manner

• Knowledgeable in medical terminology and processes is beneficial

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy is crucial

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure

• Must have a customer-centric approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality service

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Flexibility to work in different shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; further education in medical or customer service fields is an asset

• Must comply with all applicable laws and company policies.
