Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented staff accountant to join a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of general accounting procedures, a sharp attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities. This individual will be responsible for delivering high-quality work in line with the organization's financial goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
Preparation and filing of financial statements.
Processing of accounts receivable/payables and managing invoicing.
Performing monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts and reviewing of financial reports/support as necessary.
Maintaining general ledger and conducting regular ledger reconciliation.
Monitoring budgets and comparing them with actual expenses.
Ensuring the company’s financial security by establishing internal controls.
Preparing tax returns and perform regular tax checkups.
Assisting the accounting manager in preparation of financial summaries, cost accounting reports and financial analyses.
Documenting and updating financial policies, procedures, and controls in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
Responding to requests for financial information from company departments and external stakeholders.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Proven experience (1-3 years) as a staff accountant or relevant position.
In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Proven ability to handle numerical data proficiently.
Strong computer skills, MS Office and familiarity with relevant software (e.g. SAP).
Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
