DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Installs, levels, aligns, assembles, transports, erects, dismantles, loads, and unloads various machines, buildings, structures, vehicles, and equipment Inspects, and troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs Plans repair work using buildings blueprints or equipment manuals as needed Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, doors, and office furniture and painting Performs routine maintenance on building systems Makes sketches and test runs new and repaired machinery before turning over to operating department. Lubricates equipment and performs preventative maintenance Makes concrete forms, pours, and finishes as required Performs miscellaneous piping work such as fitting, bending installing and welding air, water, hydraulic, gas, oil, and steam lines Repairs air conditioning and heating systems Burns, brazes, solders, welds, and fabricates as required Keeps own work area and equipment clean and orderly Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance Maintains necessary records Performs other related duties as assigned PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: Trade School and/or industrial maintenance apprenticeship (3) Three or more years of industrial maintenance mechanic experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience Prior experience with MIG Welding, ARC Welding and Plasma Cutting PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tool
