NJ Employer Farm Worker in Mays Landing, New Jersey
Anticipated period of employment: 02/15/2024 to 12/13/2024
This job requires a minimum of one months of verifiable prior experience working on a diversified crop farm or nursery greenhouse handling both manual and machine tasks associated with commodity production and harvest activities. Applicants must be able to furnish verbal or written statement establishing relevant prior work experience. Saturday work required..
Workers will Plant, pot, cultivate and harvest various types of trees and shrubs that grow in the farm field and nursery. Work includes pinching, pruning, fertilizing, watering, rooting, weeding, loading, potting, transporting, discarding, rotating, grading, storing, and transplanting field grown trees and shrubs according to supervisor's instructions. Maintain nursery equipment and greenhouse. Clean, organize and maintain nursery, greenhouse and farm building as needed. See ETA 790/790A for a complete job description
Only workers meeting all qualifications on the job order should be referred by the Job Service Office.
