Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting a thriving workplace? We're seeking an HR Coordinator to be the heart of our team, handling essential administrative duties, supporting HR processes, and fostering an inclusive and engaging environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Frontline Receptionist: Welcome visitors, screen calls, and manage the visitor log while creating a positive first impression.

  • Application Review & Support: Screen and process employment applications using our Applicant Tracking System, ensuring accuracy before forwarding to hiring managers.

  • Hiring Support: Post job openings, schedule interviews, assist with background checks, and facilitate drug testing as needed.

  • New Employee Orientation: Lead first-day onboarding for new hires, ensuring they are familiar with company policies, safety protocols, and benefits.

  • Temporary Staffing Coordination: Collaborate with staffing agencies to meet our temporary employee needs, track work histories, and resolve invoicing issues.

  • Employee Records Management: Maintain files for full-time and temporary employees, including training records, payroll issues, and insurance enrollment.

  • Event Coordination: Organize facility-sponsored events that promote a positive and engaging workplace culture.

  • Administrative Support: Assist various departments with tasks such as inventory counts, ordering supplies, scheduling training sessions, and generating reports.

salary: $23 - $25.98 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

• Fulfills responsibilities of a receptionist; receives incoming calls, screens or directs caller to

appropriate individual/department; greets and welcomes visitors, ensures visitors log is

completed and notifies employee that visitor has arrived; retrieves, opens, date stamps,

and distributes mail.

• Reviews all employment applications via Applicant Tracking System to ensure that each

application is complete prior to forwarding to Plant HR Manager or hiring

manager/supervisor.

• Keeps weekly headcount records for full-time and temporary employees.

• Posts open job positions internally and externally, schedules interviews, and, at the

direction of the Plant HR Manager, assists with background checks and schedules drug

testing.

• Conducts orientation program with each new/temporary employee on the first day of

employment. Explains Company policies and procedures, benefits, and in the absence of

Quality and/or Environment Health & Safety representative, individual and product safety.

Ensures that all new hire paperwork and benefits enrollment paperwork is completed in

the HRIS. Forwards documents to Corporate HR as appropriate and in a timely manner.

• Works with temporary employment agencies to secure services to assist with specific

needs, maintaining accurate temporary employee records, resolving invoicing issues and

tracking individuals work history. Maintains temporary employee files.
