Need one full time, temporary, seasonal Farmworker to work in McIntosh, MN. From: 01/01/2025 - 03/01/2025 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon-Fri. 8hrs./day, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. Must apply by: 01/31/2025 Note: JOB DESCRIPTION: Care for cattle during the Winter months. Feed, water, vaccinate and administer medications as needed for livestock. Break ice in water troughs and operate tank heaters, Provide clean bedding for livestock, and monitor mothers and calves daily, record weight of newborns and sort livestock to be shipped. This position requires exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing or pulling, sitting or walking, stooping or bending over and repetitive movements. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for handling livestock. Must be able to obtain a driver's license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. No High School Diploma / GED required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
