Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Location: Golden Grace Assisted Living, McKinney, Texas Reports to: Kendra Jones, Life Wellness Director Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Golden Grace Assisted Living. The CNA will provide essential care and support to our elderly residents, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and a genuine passion for working with seniors. Key Responsibilities:
Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):
- Help residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist residents with mobility, including transferring from beds, chairs, and wheelchairs.
Monitor and Record Vital Signs:
- Take and record residents vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Report any significant changes in residents health status to the nursing staff.
Medication Assistance:
- Administer prescribed medications under the supervision of a registered nurse or doctor.
- Ensure timely and accurate medication administration.
Meal Assistance:
- Assist residents with eating and drinking as needed.
- Ensure residents receive meals according to their dietary requirements.
- Assist with kitchen dishes as needed.
Housekeeping and Laundry:
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Perform light housekeeping duties and assist with laundry.
- Wheelchair cleaning and sanitation.
Companionship and Emotional Support:
- Provide companionship and engage residents in social activities.
- Offer emotional support and build meaningful relationships with residents.
Documentation and Reporting:
Document residents health status and care provided in their medical records.
