Position: Housekeeping Porter* Location: Golden Grace Assisted Living, McKinney, Texas Reports to: Brandon Leach, Facility Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a diligent and reliable Housekeeping Porter to join our team at Golden Grace Assisted Living. The Housekeeping Porter will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility, ensuring a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Sanitizing:

• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Ensure high-touch surfaces are regularly sanitized to prevent the spread of infections.
• Handle and dispose of waste properly, including hazardous materials.

Laundry Services:

• Collect, wash, dry, and fold linens and residents personal laundry.
• Ensure clean linens are available and properly stored.

Floor Care:

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in resident rooms and common areas.
• Perform periodic deep cleaning tasks such as carpet shampooing and floor buffing.

Restocking Supplies:

• Replenish bathroom supplies, such as soap, toilet paper, and towels.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request restocks as needed.

Maintenance Reporting:

• Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the facility manager.
• Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.

Resident Interaction:

• Engage with residents in a friendly and respectful manner.
• Respond to residents requests for additional cleaning or assistance.

Compliance and Safety:

• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to instructions.
