Currently recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Room to work in McKinney, Texas in a 260-bed hospital that is proud of our history of serving the health care needs of the city and our surrounding communities for more than 90 years. Job Responsibilities of the ER RN:
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse is responsible for planning and providing individual goal directed nursing care that promotes, advocates for, and strives to protect the health, safety and rights of the individual, family, and community.
The ED nurse possesses knowledge of the principles of growth and development and the skills necessary to provide optimum patient care to the population for which he or she is employed.
The RN is accountable for their practice and care coordination.
The RN is expected to practice autonomously utilizing evidence-based practices.
Job Qualifications of the ER RN
Current licensure as an RN
ADN Required; BSN Preferred
Must have a minimum of 1-year recent experience as an RN in the ER in an Acute Care hospital environment
Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider.
ACLS Certification Preferred.
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.
Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation of the ER RN:
Salary Range: $31.57 - $53.46 depending on experience.
Sign On: $10K with a 2-year commitment.
Relocation: Case by Case.
Matching 401(k) contributions ranging from 3-9%.
PTO starting at 4 weeks per year.
