Our RF Sensors team is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team in DFW, TX.
What you will do:
Participation on collaborative, cross-disciplined integrated product teams, often employing agile software development techniques and resources to plan, design, develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions.
Responsible for some or all of a Software product, contributing as a software team member and possibly instructing a small software team.
Responsibilities spanning the full lifecycle of product development, from architecture and design, through integration, test, and field support.
Travel occasionally to support system integration and test, customer events, and related external activities.
Maintain Secret Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

Able to work onsite in McKinney, TX
Qualifications you must have:
Must have at least 5 years of relevant software development experience, preferably in product engineering or RTOS environments.
Must have experience across all phases of SDLC.
Experience with C++ and Red Hat Linux or equivalent OS
Experience with UNIX, Linux, VxWorks, INTEGRITY, SYSBIOS, or other RTOS.
Experience with Containerization and Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Must have an Active/Current DoD Secret Clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred).
Qualifications We Prefer:
Current Top Secret Clearance
Experience working on IRADs
Experience with Agile lifecycle process including Scrum, Continuous Integration and Test-Driven Development Methodologies
Experience with UNIX, Linux, VxWorks, INTEGRITY, SYSBIOS, or other RTOS
Experience with design, code, integration, and test of large systems
Experience developing embedded software for sensors, algorithm development, signal or data processing preferred.

- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
