KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Federal Advisory practice.
Review and evaluate financial risk, financial compliance, including controls related to Federal entities
Provide high quality, professional day-to-day execution of engagements and projects in line with frim risk management practices to U.S. Federal government clients
Develop audit / compliance programs, working papers, and internal audit reports
Assist in preparing risk assessments and annual audit plans
Review and evaluate Federal financial business processes
Develop and sustain solid relationships with client personnel and identify opportunities to provide additional services
A minimum of three years of Federal financial management and/or financial auditing in accordance with Office of Management & Budget (OMB), Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board (FASAB) standards
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in business related field; CPA and U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred
Experience in areas of: A-123, federal financial audit, financial management
Experience analyzing financial and systems business processes and controls
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements
U.S. citizenship required and an active U.S. Federal government Secret security clearance
