Clark Construction Group, LLC Senior Recruiter in McLean, Virginia

The Senior Recruiter joining this dynamic and results-driven team will handle full life-cycle recruiting and play a key part in supporting Clark's continued growth by developing and executing a strategic recruiting plan. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and placing top talent across the company, helping to drive our success and expansion. This is an in-office position with an optimized work schedule designed to balance collaboration and individual productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring teams to become a recruiting consultant and strategic business partner to clients.

  • Design and implement aggressive recruitment sourcing and advertising strategies including targeted diversity recruitment strategies.

  • Utilize innovative and creative recruitment methodologies in a cost effective and timely manner with the aim of limiting outside recruiting agency fees.

  • Lead and participate in targeted hiring events and attend professional networking events/conferences.

  • Track candidates properly for compliance, measure and report on applicant flow and source effectiveness.

  • Partner with human resources business partners to make salary recommendations to hiring managers and negotiate salaries with potential hires.

  • Build relationships with internal talent to help with succession planning and advise on internal moves.

  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance recruitment efficiency, ensuring more cost-effective and timely hiring.

  • Leverage internal people data and insights in addition to external labor market analysis to help clients make more informed decisions.

  • Provide general market intelligence and research on our competitors to leaders and hiring managers

  • Participate in strategic projects across human resources and beyond, including tool implementation, process improvements, employer branding, etc.

  • Proactively help other members of our team accomplish their goals - and raise your hand to help when you have capacity.

  • Provide weekly updates to hiring managers on recruiting efforts, result of efforts, and continuously refine recruiting strategy as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience with deep sourcing experience

  • Exceptional customer service orientation (within recruiting team, hiring managers, HR team, candidates, vendors, etc.)

  • Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad range of positions

  • Exceptional organizational skills, follow up skills, and attention to detail

  • Track record of developing and maintaining strong, trusting relationships with clients and candidates

  • Ability to attract passive candidates and build proactive pipelines through cold calling and networking

  • Applied experience with applicant tracking systems and other recruiting related technologies

  • Ability to manage confidential information and act with integrity and discretion

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Proficiency with standard business software (Office including Excel, G Suite)

  • Willingness to travel up to 10%

  • BA/BS or relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years agency / search firm recruiting experience

  • 2+ years corporate recruiting experience

  • Demonstrated ability to recruit on a national level for multiple locations

  • Candidate assessment expertise including competency and behavioral interviews

  • Prior experience with a CRM, programmatic job advertising, labor market insights tools

  • Workday experience is a plus

Construction work requires strenuous physical activity.
