Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Solution Specialist in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You'll Do Drive software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; provide application analysis to meet software architecture and infrastructure goals. Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, and coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools to produce analysis and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design. • 15% Travel required nationally. • Telecommuting permitted. • Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Requirements Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following: • Creating technical and functional system requirements and use cases, including technical architecture diagrams, navigation flows, logic diagrams, utilizing Jira, Visio, and Confluence; • Utilizing Jenkins, Git, Apache Ant, and Maven to build, maintain, and deploy java based applications; • Monitoring application server performance of Apache Tomcat, JBoss, and IBM WebSphere cluster, utilizing Nagios and Zabbix; • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze, and translate requirements into project designs to deliver solutions using Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CD), utilizing Waterfall and Sprint methodologies; • Working across all phases of the Agile Methodology including Preparation, Blueprint, Performance and Load testing, Go-live and post go-live support for the design, development, testing and implementation of solutions for enterprise-level clients; • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate functional and technical requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that fully meet client needs, utilizing Salesforce, OpenShift, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, and using Waterfall and Sprint approaches; and • Analyzing client infrastructure and providing advisory and implementation services for clients to migrate from legacy architecture to Cloud based containerized architecture using Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible and Terraform.
