The Public Safety Information Technology Delivery Center (PSITDC) is looking for an Information Technology Policy Specialist 1 to support the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Corrections. DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position serves as Business Analysis Lead and plays a primary role in planning and monitoring the requirements gathering and requirements implementation of all processes. You are accountable for the successful delivery to end users. This work includes developing and/or coordinating business analysis and business process re-engineering procedures and measurements; developing business analysis policies and plans; and working with other department bureaus and PSDC IT members to identify, assess and coordinate the documentation of business and technical requirements for new development and enhancements. In addition, you continuously monitor policies and procedures related to business processes and provide any appropriate changes and recommendations to the PSDC IT senior managers and executive leadership.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 2 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One (1) year as an Information Technology (IT) Policy Associate 2; or Three (3) years of technical experience in IT resource management or policy analysis work and a Bachelor's Degree in Public or Business Administration, Policy Analysis and Planning, or a related field, which included or was supplemented by 6 college level credits in information technology; or Two (2) years of technical experience in IT resource management or policy analysis work and a Master's Degree in Public or Business Administration, Policy Analysis and Planning, or a related field, which included or was supplemented by 6 college level credits in information technology; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements:

You must have at least 5 years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst serving as the lead analyst conducting business analysis and business process mapping. You must have experience in eliciting, documenting, reviewing, and analyzing requirements regarding the business and its operations. You must have experience in preparing models and process maps for improvements. You must have the ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements, and operational decisions. You must have experience in researching business processes through policies, procedures, and observations. You must have a high degree of business analysis and policy interpretation skills to develop business process knowledge, leadership, and ability to take initiative. You must have the ability to ramp up quickly and perform independently. You must have knowledge of Business Analysis Tools. You m st have the ability to effectively communicate. You must have the ability to plan strategically. You must have the ability to remain organized when working on multiple tasks/projects. You must have the ability to effectively manage time.
