Job Description
BAE Systems in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking an IT Production Support Analyst to serve as customer liaison and support to the Naval Supply Command Weapons System Support group in Mechanicsburg, PA for the TRIDENT Logistic Data System. The potential candidate will manage and execute production processes and programs to provide Logistics support to the TRIDENT submarine fleet and will be interfacing with other IT professionals, as well as internal and external customers on a regular basis to manage key tasks and schedules to align with the fleet s operating schedule.
The work will be done at NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support on-base in Mechanicsburg PA. There is no relocation assistance available, the selected candidate must be willing and able to relocate at their own expense.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Minimum education and years of related/relevant work experience required: High School and at least six years of related professional work experience.
Additional skills/experience required:
Ability to work in a team environment, or independently
Must have experience in following documented operating procedures as well create and maintain documentation of systems
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have experience in directly interfacing with customers and a proven record of providing outstanding customer service
Experience with analyzing data for discrepancies
Experience in troubleshooting system problems
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in related field or an Associate's and at least years related professional work experience
Experience in the UNIX operating system (scripting a plus)
Experience with Configuration Management
Working knowledge of Oracle databases
Ability to write PL/SQL statements
Ability to troubleshoot network connection issues
Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Principles
Familiarity with the Software Engineering Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Security or equivalent DoD IA certification
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $56200 - $95500
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
