SproutLoud Junior Production Designer in Medellin, Colombia

SproutLoud is a Software plus Services platform that services the local marketing needs of large organizations. Called Through-Channel Marketing Automation (TCMA), we help our clients manage their brands and distribute their marketing resources locally - through sales channels, franchisees, chain-retail locations, dealer networks, value-added reseller (VAR) programs, and field employees/offices - with a comprehensive distributed marketing solution. Overview

SproutLoud's Production Programmer/Designers are critical team members in supporting our clients by providing template programming, Inventory item creation, along with design and prepress services. This role works closely with Client Services and Print Production on a daily basis and interact with Master Account through  our ticketing system. This individual excels at problem solving with exceptional critical thinking skills. He/she is tech savvy and a quick learner on new software as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Learn SproutLoud technology quickly

  • Accurately  program inventory items, STYD, custom ads and DM templates

  • Accurately  program advanced custom ad templates using Pageflex Studio

  • Learn and effectively use ZenDesk software to prioritize design project

  • Communicate with SME and Team Lead if there are impediments

  • Participate in Daily Standup Meetings with Team Lead

  • Help other team members and collaborate on projects as well as work independently 

  • Be accountable and manage oneself and represent SproutLoud professionally

  • Learn SproutLoud workflows, paper types and price models

  • Learn and effectively program STYD and DM pageflex templates

  • Learn and effectively program vehicle graphics

    Requirements

  • Must be fluent in English which includes the ability to read and write

  • Skilled graphic designer with emphasis on Adobe InDesign and other Creative Suite applications (Acrobat, Illustrator and Photoshop)

  • Knowledge of Excel and Word

  • Ability to multi-task, learn new technologies, software and computers quickly

  • Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills 

  • Track record of learning quickly in a team environment

  • Effectively use resources to find answers and solutions 

  • Must have a good understanding of the SproutLoud app

  • Must be an InDesign expert

  • Must have Basic Pageflex programming skills

  • Ability to program inventory items

    Interview process

    Our five steps recruiting process lasts a total of 2 weeks:

    Step 1: Meet and greet with a recruiter or hiring manager; followed by some brief assessments

    Step 2: Top-Grading, 2-hour interview with 2 Hiring Managers

    Step 3: In-person meetings (one day in total) with your peers, direct reports and/or team leads
