Wawa Inc. Business Intelligence Solution Engineer in Media, Pennsylvania
Wawa, Inc. seeks a Business Intelligence Solution Engineer in Wawa, PA to provide technical and business expertise in integrating data from a variety of source systems and presenting it through an array of self-service applications. Support data analysis, data modeling and data design tasks as well as the creation of metrics and attributes to be consumed by interactive dashboards and data visualizations. Create optimal reporting structures at the database for ongoing reporting and analytics. Partner with the data engineers for translating business requirements into data requirements and structure for schema creation. Requires a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology or related technical field with 8 years' experience with database and data integration; 5 years' experience in designing and implementing data structures for reporting tools (i.e. MicroStrategy, Tableau, etc.); 3 years' experience with Hadoop, SQL and Big Data Solutions. Demonstrated ability with one or more of the following: Big Data Platforms, HANA/BW/Snowflake; Reporting related Data Security Standards; Database models (Snowflake, Hana, Hadoop).
