It is currently anticipated that the position will be part-time. (Approximately two to four days per week, 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.). The position could potentially increase to full-time. The individual will be responsible for instructing and evaluating students in the lab and clinical settings. The students will be instructed within the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Scope of Practice at various clinical settings per curriculum outline to meet program objectives. The individual will track, record, and report clinical performance on student evaluation tools. Must have a current NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license and at minimum a bachelor's degree in nursing, or be actively enrolled in such program. Current nursing skills and computer competency are required. Previous teaching experience is desired. The individual must have or be eligible for appropriate teaching certification upon hire. It is anticipated that an individual would qualify for certification with successful completion of fingerprinting and three workshops. Regular attendance and dependability are required. Other responsibilities may be assigned. The assignment is subject to change. Salary: $35.50 per hour.
