The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne is looking for an energetic and passionate Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee breakfast operations at Atria. This role will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of breakfast service, leading the team to provide an unforgettable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily breakfast operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service from opening to close.

  • Lead, train, and motivate the breakfast team, ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional guest experiences.

  • Ensure that the breakfast service meets the luxury standards of The Ritz-Carlton in terms of presentation, quality, and timing.

  • Maintain inventory and stock levels, ensuring that the restaurant is well-prepared for each morning service.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.

  • Assist with staff scheduling, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.

  • Support the Restaurant leaders in achieving budgetary goals, including cost control and revenue enhancement initiatives.

  • Foster a positive working environment, promoting teamwork and professional development within the team.

  • Handle guest inquiries or special requests in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Assist with training new team members, ensuring they are well-prepared to deliver exceptional service.

About You:

  • Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

  • Full-time working rights required.

  • RSA Certificate required.

  • Experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant highly regarded.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a hands-on approach.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring luxury service excellence.

  • A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering an outstanding guest experience.
