We are seeking an innovative an experienced Facilities Manager to join our CBRE – ISPT team responsible for the facilities and technical services of a portfolio of retail and industrial assets. You will manage Taylors Hill and Tarneit Village along with 2 industrial assets at Melbourne Drive and Boundary Road but also the Showgrounds in Flemington. Take responsibility for the efficient, safe, cost-effective operations, maintenance and development of all building services

About the role:

  • Co-ordinate and maintain building operations at optimum efficiency and cost effectiveness, adhering to customer and statutory requirements

  • Develop and implement onsite engineering and operational strategies to deliver leading edge service delivery solutions.

  • Promote, attend to and supervise the proper care of the building operations systems, installations, facilities and finishes in accordance with owner/building policies and procedures otherwise in accordance with CBRE policies and procedures

  • Ensure orders are issued and invoices processed in the defined time. A register of invoices, orders and requests for service is to be always maintained

  • Complete and submit to the Property Manager Building Operational Reports in the format and time schedule designated by the Manager

  • Maintain, implement, and review Risk Management practices and risk minimisation processes to actively reduce insurance premiums and liabilities

  • Actively participate in the budgeting process and provide high level advice on non-routine and routine repairs and maintenance budgeting programs

About you :

  • Previous experience in a facilities, property, or related role

  • Sound working knowledge all property onsite facilities services, not limited to essential fire safety measures, mechanical services, hydraulic and structural.

  • Contractor management experience within a commercial building environment highly advantageous

  • Understanding of HSE & ESG in the facilities management industry

  • Excellent customer service and service delivery skills

  • Ability to manage several functions and projects simultaneously

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders.
