Ford Motor Company Ford ANZ Technical Training Delivery Supervisor in Melbourne, Australia

What you'll do...

As the Technical Training Delivery Supervisor based in Melbourne, you will be responsible for leading the common delivery methods and principals of Technical Training across ANZ, and supervising the delivery of Curriculum, New Model Training (NMT), and Performance Improvement delivery activities across both markets. You will oversee the implementation of Facilities, Equipment, and Trainer requirements, ensure that training programs comply with relevant industry regulations and safety standards, and overall support the Technical Training program to meet training requirements and targets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the common delivery methods and principals of Technical Training across Australia and NZ.

  • Supervise the delivery of Technical Training, including Curriculum and New Model Training (NMT), and Performance Improvement delivery activities across Australia and NZ.

  • Supervise the development and delivery of FRTFT courses in support of net Promoter Score (NPS) targets.

  • Ensure data and information is provided to the IMG Regional Team so that reports and training plans can be developed based on market targets and data from the Learning Management System (STARS).

  • Oversee the implementation of Facilities & Equipment, and Trainer requirements to support training delivery based on the Ford Global Technical Training Operating Guide (TTOG).

  • Review technical training materials and market relevant adjustment that retain high quality of technical training such as Curriculum, New model training and market special course to improve FRTFT in markets.

  • Deliver and ensure that training programs comply with relevant industry regulations, safety standards.

  • Support IMG and local SEO Manager(s) Technical Training requirements and targets.

You'll have…

  • A tertiary qualification in Education and Training and/or previous experience/roles in the Technical Training arena.

  • Above average proficiency with MS Office products.

  • Proficiency / knowledge of training plans, development practices and delivery techniques, service in automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to manage people and teams.

  • An ability to drive for results and interact with regional markets.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Full Australian Drivers Licence

Even better, you may have..

  • Ford Master Technician or equivalent Ford technical training experience with strong diagnostic capability preferred.

  • Understanding of Ford Dealer Service operations and previous Dealer/field experience highly desirable.

  • Ability to build relationships with Technicians and Dealers.

  • Ability to maintain positive attitude and influence the team culture when faced with demanding internal and customer expectations and changing requirements.

  • Strategic mindset and strong analytical, systemic thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Creative thinker/problem solver and ability to consider multiple points of view (flexibility).

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

  • Strong negotiation skills with ability to create leverage.

  • Strong project planning skills, with ability to stay organized while managing multiple project components and programs.

  • Ability to understand and connect with Technicians.

  • Great written and oral communication skills.
