About the role
This is a busy HR generalist position where people management support to our managers is crucial. Looking after two states supporting 350 staff, there are a host of responsibilities which make the position both interesting and rewarding. This includes employee relations, on-boarding, remuneration, performance management, succession planning, workforce wellbeing and workforce development. This position supports Human Resource strategies and takes the lead on projects that keep Stantec’s workforce engaged and motivated.
As a strong relationship builder, you will have the ability and confidence to engage with managers and employees and to influence them to achieve key business outcomes. A commercial with the ability to multi-task, energy and resourcefulness are qualities that are keenly sought along with attention to detail when it comes to employment documentation. We need someone who can work autonomously and develop and maintain excellent relationships remotely. Working collaboratively primarily within the ANZ HR Team and more broadly with the Asia Pacific team to achieve successful outcomes.
You will ideally have a tertiary qualification in Human Resources or other relevant field with a minimum 10 years’ human resources experience with at least 5 in a consulting environment. Ideally you will have experience and the ability to work with remote teams within a matrix structure. Your ability to partner, influence and maintain positive relations with internal clients is essential plus the organisational skills to prioritise and manage your own workload based on business needs.
