REAx’sfirst mission has been to launch a new consumer experience on property.com.au – this role is to continue that mission by expanding, iterating and improving that experience.
You’ll be helping to address some of the key challenges buyers and sellers face when trying to achieve their property goals.
You’ll be responsible for shaping initiatives in discovery and working with the delivery team to bring these new experiences to life.
Your day to day will be varied, but will include contributing to product vision, translating vision into reality by supporting initiatives through design and delivery, analysing product performance, optimising through experimentation, and liaising with a diverse range of stakeholders within the business.
A few ways you’ll support the team:
Along with your design, technology and delivery peers, lead 1-2 squads withinREAxlooking after products and experiences on property.com.au
Represent our users – attain a deep understanding of property owners, property seekers and property professionals and use it to shapeREAxproducts
Ideation and prioritisation of product features – drive the processes associated with defining high value experiences that will meet our goals, including definition of concepts within the broader vision, ability to evaluate value vs effort and collaborate with design and engineering through discovery and delivery.
Analyse product performance & design future experiments – develop (and communicate) a deep understanding of product performance and identify hypotheses / experiments to drive product performance improvement
Monitor the market & competitor activity – proactively identify opportunities, threats, and develop an understanding of how market forces may impact our business
Lead through influence – contribute to an environment that fosters a happy, high performing team, playing an active role in encouraging a culture of continuous improvement.
Work across the group – build and maintain relationships across different lines of business and functions to leverage learnings and seek out efficient collaborative ways of achieving outcomes
Who we’re looking for
Aseasoned product professional with demonstrated passion for creating compelling & successful digital products
Ideas and outcome oriented; able to identify, articulate, and manage to a set of clear prioritisation and constraint criteria
Familiar with various lightweight techniques for incepting and testing ideas
Has deep knowledge and experience with iterative (agile) and lean design and development
Has strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
Enjoys a fast-paced environment with lots of new challenges around each corner
Looks at challenging situations through a solutions-focused lens
Can proactively understand the performance of products and features; monitoring use over time using analytics and user research techniques
Can take a commercial lens – understands where consumer value lies, and how to successfully monetise to drive revenue
