Robert Half Commercial Collections Specialist in Memphis, Tennessee
Description
We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Commercial Collections Specialist in Memphis, Tennessee. This role will be hybrid, allowing for both in-office and remote work. The collections specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining customer accounts, posting payments, and responding to customer inquiries.
Responsibilities:
• Post payments on customer accounts accurately and in a timely manner
• Handle customer inquiries via phone and email, ensuring all communication is detail oriented and courteous
• Work closely with the Collections Specialist to manage customer accounts and resolve issues
• Use Cash Applications and Accounts Receivable (AR) skills to maintain accurate records and ensure smooth operations
• Employ detail oriented phone etiquette and pleasant phone manner to provide excellent customer service
• Use Cash Posting and Post Payments skills to manage customer accounts effectively
• Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally, using excellent problem-solving skills
• Handle email correspondence professionally, ensuring all customer inquiries are addressed appropriately.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Cash Applications and Accounts Receivable (AR), commercial collections
• Experience in Cash Posting and Post Payments
• Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to Resolve Customer Issues
• Ability to communicate professionally via phone and email
• Strong Professional Phone Etiquette
• Must have a Pleasant Phone Manner
• Capability to handle Email Correspondence efficiently
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a bachelor's degree in finance or related field is preferred.
