ChenMed Internal Medicine Physician – Multiple Positions in Memphis, Tennessee

Job Duties: Serve senior and geriatric patients, most of whom are individuals of moderate to low-income means, seeking medical services. The duties include provide primary care services including non-interventional cardiovascular therapies/treatment to senior/geriatric patient; provide comprehensive health care with a particular focus on preventive and therapeutic medical services for seniors; and examine patients for symptoms of organic or congenital disorders and determine the nature and extent of injury or disorder, referring to diagnostic images and tests and using medical instruments and equipment. Owing to the geriatric population, there is a particular emphasis on both the prevention as well as treatment of diseases and disabilities in older adults. The physician will also prescribe medication and recommend dietary and activity program, as indicated by diagnosis. May read echos at other designated worksites pursuant with appropriate state licensing.
Requirements: Medical Degree or foreign equivalent, Internal Medicine Residency, Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship, Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. Must possess a Tennessee State Medical license and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license.
