Location: Menasha, WI Position: Administrative Assistant Compensation:The annual base salary range for this role is from \$43,010 to \$50,600; position would qualify for overtime (Based on experience) PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Administrative Assistant will report to the Plant Manager and will work closely with members of the management and union leadership teams. This position will perform a variety of administrative tasks to support the efficient operation of the Menasha Paper Mill and its employees. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the timely and accurate coordination of the hourly plant payroll (UKG and Workday). Weekly scheduling of union employees. Including vacations, personal holidays, partner trades, call-ins, leave-of-absences\' as needed. Act as the first point of contact regarding benefits for individuals in Menasha. Responds to employee questions in a timely manner (ex. insurance, short-term disability, etc). Act as a liaison between employees and corporate office. Collaborate with regional and/or corporate HR resources to ensure compliance and alignment with policies and programs for the organization to include recruitment, employment, compensation, benefits, and employee services. Facilitate temporary labor hiring (ex. summer students), new employee hiring, and support new employee orientation efforts with safety leadership. Setup new maintenance apprentices with the Department of Workforce Development. Track allowances for safety shoes and safety glasses for all employees and follow through on reimbursement as needed. Schedule yearly biometric screenings, hearing tests, and safety shoe truck events. Partner with hiring managers and corporate recruiter to successfully support hiring and onboarding process including conducting onsite pre-hire drug screening, orientation, and new hire paperwork.
