Description
Robert Half is seeking a temporary Sr. Customer Service Representative to work an overnight shift. The responsibilities of the overnight Customer Service Representative position include:
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary contact for drivers, addressing their concerns and queries promptly.
• Dispatch drivers on various loads, ensuring efficient coordination and tracking.
• Oversee critical shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Act as a liaison between the logistics team and the drivers, facilitating clear and effective communication.
• Provide immediate assistance and resources to drivers in case of accidents or breakdowns.
• Deescalate calls with drivers, providing effective solutions to their problems.
• Coordinate logistics and contribute to effective fleet management.
• Maintain a customer service-oriented approach, fostering positive relationships with drivers.
Requirements
Requirements of the position:
• Must possess at least 1 year of experience in a Customer Service Representative role or similar.
• Strong competence in Customer Service, demonstrating the ability to manage and respond to different customer needs and concerns.
• Proficient in Data Entry, with the ability to accurately and efficiently process large amounts of information.
• Basic Office Skills are necessary, including organization, multitasking, and administrative abilities.
• Preferred experience in logistics.
• Ability to work overnight shift with hours on a rotating schedule that include:
Position 1: Hours – 8:15pm-7:30am
Week 1 – Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
Week 2 – Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
Position 2: Hours – 5:00pm-5:00am
Week 1 – Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Week 2 – Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
