Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Fund Accountant in Menlo Park, California. As a Fund Accountant, you will have a crucial role in managing and overseeing the financial aspects of our investment funds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the accurate and timely electronic distribution of financial statements and partners' capital statements, including capital calls and distribution notices to LPs.

• Manage and assist in the preparation of accurate quarterly and annual audited statements.

• Undertake cash reconciliation tasks and provide necessary assistance in capital call planning.

• Review and assist in the quarterly financial closing process, including the preparation of financial and partners' statements.

• Ensure the accuracy of capital call and distribution allocation calculations.

• Prepare and provide necessary documentation for external auditors, responding to their inquiries as required.

• Respond professionally and promptly to any inquiries from LPs.

• Undertake any additional responsibilities as needed. Requirements • Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Fund Accountant role or similar.

• Proficiency in using Abila MIP is required.

• Must have experience with Accounting Software Systems.

• Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services is essential.

• Experience with Banner Ads is a plus.

• Familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal is expected.

• Should have a strong understanding of Accounting Functions.

• Experience in Auditing is required.

• Must be adept at managing Budget Processes.

• Understanding of Capital Management is crucial.

• Candidates should be able to handle Cash Activity efficiently.
