This is a weekend day shift position, Friday - Sunday 6:00am - 6:00pm, starting at $19.60/hour. (Starting pay does include a $1 off shift premium)

JOB SUMMARY: Will be required to drive the company truck to various locations as required. Perform all warehouse functions per standard work. Warehouse responsibilities to include but not limited to moving parts, materials, loading and unloading parts, weigh counting parts, staging shipments, shipping, receiving, etc. Will perform warehouse receiving inspection. May work with Materials department on expedited parts. Proceeds on work assignments with a minimum of supervision and/or direction. Will be required to operate lift truck, stretch wrapper and dock leveler.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Drive company truck to various locations

  • Identify and process all paperwork and complete data entry.

  • Move materials, load & unload trucks, receive materials using a variety of lift trucks, including, but not limited to stand-up and sit down lift.

  • Weigh count parts as required.

  • Follow start up and shut down procedures on all equipment, monitor and adjust equipment as necessary and record same.

  • Move inventory from inspection hold area and/or staging area to stores.

  • Pull component parts and deliver to manufacturing for processing.

  • Cycle count inventory, maintain and make adjustments to same in established systems.

  • Notify carriers and/or courier services when pick-ups are necessary.

  • Process all UPS, USPS, & FEDEX shipments.

  • Process coupling orders to prepare for shipment.

  • Utilize the available computer software programs as required.

  • Identify equipment irregularities and/or malfunctions and make correction or notify proper person.

  • Maintain required documentation of driving and truck PM’s.

  • Work safely at all times and comply with safety regulations regarding the use of protective equipment and devices.

  • Keep work area, equipment, machines, etc. clean and orderly at all times.

  • Offer suggestions for improving productivity, process, safety, or work environment

  • Perform other miscellaneous job assignments and related functions as directed by Team Lead, Manager, or other designated person.

  • Must perform as a team member with the willingness and attitude to work with others to resolve problems. Must also maintain a good working relationship with others within the organization.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Class C Drivers License.

  • Good math skills

  • Computer skills

  • Must maintain acceptable driving record

Top Candidates will also have:

  • Lift truck experience

  • Good team working skills

  • The ability to multitask

  • Great organizational skills
