Aerotek Journeyman Electrician in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin

Journeyman Electrician

Responsibilities

  • Maintain machinery and mechanical equipment.

  • Collaborate with production teams/subcontractors to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues.

  • Perform preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyors, and more.

  • Perform building maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems--may involve fire detection systems, refrigeration systems, and more.

  • Perform precision machining--shaping, cutting, and fabricating metal parts.

  • Fabricate repair parts--standard turning and plane machines, boring and drilling machines, grinders, horizontal mills, and engine lathes.

  • Record and manage data using CMMS.

Essential Skills

  • Knowledge of switch gears, transformers, power distribution, PLC repair and troubleshooting, and VFDs troubleshooting and repair.

  • Experience with Siemens PLCs.

  • Familiar with drives and controls, including servos.

  • Maintaining and enhancing production quality.

  • Preventive maintenance of engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and conveyors.

  • Precision machining and fabricating metal parts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Journeyman Electrician certification.

  • Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

  • Automation knowledge and experience are a plus--not required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00
