Kohl's Senior Marketing Capabilities Strategy and Enablement Coordinator (remote eligible) in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin
BUSINESS IMPACT STATEMENT Coordinates projects that drive marketing technology capabilities, operational efficiencies and continually improve processes to support marketing growth strategies and operations for Kohl's, with a focus on creating and & building out in-platform content architecture strategy.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
DRIVE CONTENT ARCHITECTURE STRATEGY AND REFINEMENT
Drives practice of intelligent content through creation & build-out of in-platform content architecture strategy and content models so content is able to be utilized effectively, efficiency, and drive desired outcomes
Evaluates existing content processes and identifies opportunities for improvement, documents requirements, and implements solutions to optimize
Monitor quality of content model and capability outcomes to improve the process and resolve issues
Leverage cross-functional knowledge and partnerships to ensure marketing taxonomies and associated mapping functions can be leveraged consistently across various departments and channels
Guide cross-functional stakeholders through opportunity identification and updates of content model impacts
Drive evaluation of data requests, ensuring solutions adhere to industry best practices
MARKETING TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION INITIATIVES
Documents business opportunities from stakeholders and subject matter experts for new technology initiatives; guide stakeholders through strategic capability conversations
Supports Marketing Technology Manager and stakeholders with development of business cases and roadmaps
Supports Marketing Technology Manager in managing vendor relationships ensuring documentation is created and maintained and milestones are met
Ensures technology initiatives are executed to incorporate marketing business needs and constraints
Proactively and seamlessly navigates ambiguity with new customer/associate facing initiatives
DOCUMENT, ANALYZE AND COORDINATE PROCESSES
Identify workflow process improvements and recommend innovative solutions to drive the business forward
Create process related documentation
Coordinate process implementation through communication protocols and change management
Support standards and guide planning approach for the team and ensure follow-through
Monitor participation and end user adoption to support compliance
IDENTIFY, COORDINATE AND DELIVER ENHANCEMENTS
Independently coordinate medium and large projects and effectively communicate with appropriate stakeholders
Partner with leaders to develop project approach and communicate recommendations to move project decisions forward
Develop, document and maintain a project schedule that aligns cross-functional business functions milestones
Identify project issues and recommend alternative and/or strategic solutions to drive the business forward
Create and deliver proactive and objective communication
DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN BUSINESS PARTNER RELATIONSHIPS
Builds cross-functional partnerships and alignment across Kohl's
Communicates standards to meet deadlines and prioritization needs
Partners with stakeholders to receive status updates on the progression of deliverables that impact MarCap initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
3+ years relevant experience including hands-on experience working within a Marketing Technology platform
Bachelor’s degree
Experience leading large content-oriented migrations, such as DAM, CMS, or DXP
Basic understanding of development processes
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team effectively with others
Self starter with the ability to prioritize
Ability to independently and effectively lead meetings and track project progress
Detail-oriented in context of a fast-paced environment
PREFERRED
Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Technical Communication, Digital Marketing, or Computer Science
Strong understanding of how intelligent and modular content drives successful digital marketing
Marketing technology related experience
Experience in retail and/or marketing environment
Experience utilizing standards to drive process improvement
Group facilitation experience
