EOG Resources, Inc. Drilling Yard Superintendent in Mentone, Texas
On-site organization of daily Apollo Yard activities performed to EOG requirements on a rotational basis. Ensure plans and procedures are carried out as proposed and that EOG's safety and environmental policies and procedures are followed in the Apollo Yard; oversee and direct the activities of EOG contractors and service companies. Coordinate inspection, repairs, and logistics for EOG and Contractor drill pipe, Mud Motors, Well Control Certificates of Compliance, Apollo yard Housing and other miscellaneous equipment for On-Site Apollo yard personnel. Monitor and record day-to-day yard activities for safety and operational program needs while handling problems that may arise; Record and minimize costs for operations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must have 5+ years of oil and gas field experience and/or experience as a Logistics coordinator. Must be experienced in supervising day-to-day yard activities and be knowledgeable of onshore drilling equipment specifics. Additionally, must have have computer skills, project management skills and a strong understanding of Drilling operation needs and priorities . Must communicate effectively and have supervisory experience. Must be available to be on call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, when yard operations are in progress. A high school diploma or GED is required. Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
